Fea­tured Artist and Art

Lewis (Lewe’) Fea­gins was born in Dallas,TX to Lewis Fea­gins and Jewel Har­ris. At the age of eight, he took an inter­est in draw­ing as a hobby. By the time he reached his high school years, his expe­ri­ence and cre­ative imag­i­na­tion landed him accep­tance into the acclaimed Booker T. Wash­ing­ton High School for the Per­form­ing and Visual Arts in the his­toric Arts Dis­trict in down­town Dal­las. His stud­ies included dif­fer­ent forms of visual arts such as sculpt­ing, pot­tery, fine jew­elry mak­ing, fab­ric design and paint­ing. Dur­ing his years there, he devel­oped a unique style of expres­sion in art.

After grad­u­at­ing as an Honor Stu­dent in Visual Arts, he joined the Air Force. Dur­ing his years in the mil­i­tary he trav­eled around Europe, expand­ing his knowl­edge and cre­ativ­ity for his long­time pas­sion. Once return­ing to the U.S., he had sev­eral occu­pa­tions and was allowed to expand his cre­ative tal­ent to act­ing in local plays and commercials.

His life took a more dra­matic turn when he and his wife Tiffany reded­i­cated their lives to GOD. The Lord gave him a new vision and call­ing to use the gift HE gave him to glo­rify HIS name and min­is­ter to those who are seek­ing more than just your aver­age artwork.

Lewe’s art­work expresses visions that can surely be depicted from the Holy Bible itself. Some of his work is dis­played in busi­nesses around Dal­las and recently he part­nered with a local bank to have pro­ceeds from the sales of his work to ben­e­fit the March of Dimes.

Art Amaz­ing by LEWE’ Abstract and Chris­t­ian Art is for every­one, not just those indi­vid­u­als seek­ing Christ, but those who are seek­ing new expressions.
